1. Scope and contact
This policy describes the information used when you visit VedicTime, create an account, calculate charts, use AI features or publish content. It accompanies the Terms of Use.
The operator responsible for the Russian website and the processing of personal data on it is identified above.

2. Information you provide
The information processed depends on the features you use:
- Account information: your email address, display name, sign-in information and account preferences.
- Astrological inputs: birth date, birth time, birthplace, selected location and other details you enter for charts, calendars or compatibility calculations.
- AI interactions: the questions you submit, relevant chart context and the responses generated for you.
- Assistant memory: information you enter in “About me” and “Custom facts”, and brief facts automatically extracted from statements about yourself in your questions, such as your work, goals, preferences or life circumstances. Saved facts are linked to your account; automatically collected facts also retain a reference to the source question and its date.
- Purchases: the selected plan or credit pack, payment amount and currency, payment status, transaction references and subscription information, including renewal dates and identifiers of provider subscriptions or saved payment methods linked to your account.
- Communications and publications: support messages, feedback, articles, comments and uploaded materials that you choose to submit.
Do not include passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in messages, AI questions or public posts. Only provide another person's data if you have permission or another lawful basis.
3. Technical information and cookies
When you use the Service, technical information can include your IP address, browser and device characteristics, language, pages requested, referring page, timestamps and error information. An approximate country or location may be derived from your connection. This information supports service delivery, security, troubleshooting and usage analysis.
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, session security and preferences such as language, appearance and acknowledgement of the cookie notice. Depending on the page and enabled integrations, analytics or embedded third-party services may also use cookies or similar technologies. Acknowledging the cookie notice does not make technical or account-linked data anonymous.
You can review, block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Restricting storage may affect sign-in and saved preferences. External services have their own privacy notices and controls.
4. How information is used
We use information to provide the features you request, maintain your account, perform calculations, generate AI responses, process purchases, respond to support requests and protect the Service from misuse. Technical and usage information also helps diagnose errors and understand how the Service is used.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing is based on providing the service you request, meeting legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service maintenance, or consent where required. Consent can be withdrawn for the processing that relies on it; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.
4.1. Memory across AI dialogues
Guru can save personal facts from your questions and use saved memory as context for later answers across your dialogues. This helps personalise responses without requiring you to repeat the same information. Automatic collection is enabled by default, unless you have turned it off. The default setting does not itself constitute consent where consent is required by law.
Automatic collection operates in general and personal dialogues when “Memory” is enabled and no extra charts are attached. It does not operate in chart or compatibility dialogues or public demos. Facts can be saved without a separate confirmation for each fact. An explicit request to remember something can add it to your editable custom facts; facts extracted from ordinary questions are stored separately and are not displayed in that list.
The extraction aims to retain statements you make about yourself, but summaries can be mistaken, incomplete or become outdated. Not every question results in a saved fact. You can control collection and use of memory and request corrections or deletion as explained in section 8.
5. Service providers and AI processing
Providing the Service can involve hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery, payment processors, sign-in providers, analytics and error-monitoring services. They receive information relevant to the functions they perform. Payment details entered into a payment provider's form are subject to that provider's terms and privacy notice.
For authorised recurring payments, the payment provider saves the selected payment method. For YooKassa, VedicTime stores the saved method's identifier to request the agreed monthly charges. After successful cancellation, we stop using that method for this subscription's future renewals; payment and cancellation records may be retained for the purposes described in section 7. Buying a one-time credit pack does not authorise saving a method for recurring charges.
When you use an AI feature, your question and the relevant context, which may include birth details, calculated chart data and saved assistant memory when enabled for the dialogue, are sent to the AI infrastructure and model providers used to generate the answer. When automatic collection is enabled for a question, the question is also processed by an AI model to extract facts for memory. Avoid including information that is unnecessary for your request.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Cross-border processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements. You can contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your use of the Service.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims, within the limits of applicable law.
6. Public content and shared links
Articles, comments and other content you publish are visible to their intended audience. Anyone who receives a public report or shared-result link may be able to open it and pass it on. Public pages may also be indexed by search engines or copied by others.
Review the information shown before publishing or sharing. Removing content from VedicTime does not automatically remove copies that other people or external services have already made.
Assistant memory is not published as a public profile. However, an answer may reflect saved facts, so sharing that answer can disclose those details.
7. Storage and security
Information is kept for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of the account's status, the feature used, legal record-keeping obligations, security needs and the resolution of disputes. Closing an account does not necessarily remove transaction records or other information that must be retained by law.
Automatically collected memory retains up to 50 facts of up to 300 characters each per account. When the limit is reached, older facts are removed as newer facts are saved. Limited records of processed questions are also kept to prevent duplicate updates. These limits concern the separate automatic-memory record, not your dialogue history or custom facts. Facts have no fixed time-based expiry; they remain until removed to make room for newer facts or deleted using “Clear all memory” or following a request under section 8. Turning collection off does not delete saved facts. Removing a fact from memory does not remove earlier questions, answers or copies of context already stored with them.
We use technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet service or method of storage can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in credentials private and report suspected unauthorised access to us.
8. Your choices and rights
You can update available account details and preferences in your account and contact us about access, correction or deletion of personal information. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your data, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority.
For assistant memory:
- Stop new collection: in Guru's Memory view, turn off “Allow collecting facts automatically” in the “Automatic memory” card below “Custom facts”. This stops collecting new facts from questions for both the editable and automatic memory stores. Previously saved memory can still be used when the dialogue's “Memory” setting is enabled.
- Control use in a dialogue: turn off “Memory” before sending a question to exclude saved custom and automatic memory from the new question's context and stop new collection in that dialogue. This does not remove earlier dialogue content or information you include in the question itself.
- Manage or delete saved information: edit or delete “About me” and custom facts in the Memory view. The separate “Clear all memory” card at the bottom of the view lets you delete “About me”, all saved and pending custom facts, and the separate automatically collected facts. Deletion takes place only after you confirm it. It leaves your collection preference unchanged: turn off automatic collection as well if you do not want new facts saved from future questions. Contact us to request access to or correction of automatically collected facts, selective deletion, or deletion of related dialogue data. Specify which information you want us to address.
These settings apply to future questions. You can continue using Guru with automatic collection turned off.
Send requests to info [at] vedictime [dot] com, preferably from the email linked to your account. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We respond within the deadlines required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits on a request. You do not need to send a password or full card details.
9. External links and updates
This policy covers VedicTime. When you follow an external link or use a third-party service, review that service's privacy information.
We may update this page as features or data practices change. Where required, material changes will be brought to your attention through the Service or email. Publication of an update does not replace consent where consent is required.
